Where the %$!# am I???

So yeah, I generally don’t cuss in my blog. I try to keep everything as PG as I possibly can. But I have to tell you, I’m freaking the F@$& OUT!!!

We just moved to Florida. Courtesy of the US Government. It’s beautiful. The people seem friendly (with the exception of the massive dent I have in my rear passenger side from someone opening a door too hard), and I have more businesses around me than I did in Arkansas. But new is scary y’all!

I have no internet which means that I’m kinda cut off from the world. I haven’t checked my email in God knows how long. I haven’t written a blog post in WAAAAYYYYYY longer than I’m comfortable with. I don’t even know where the damn dog parks are!!!!

Small steps though right? I have found a righteous and awesome butcher shoppe (should I have left off the extra –pe? Or is that only in Europe? Anyway…) in Pensacola. The bad news is that it’s a bit of a drive, almost an hour away. The good news is that I’ll be able to feed my dog for less than $100 a month.

A little back story on that: Harlow has a food allergy (I’m about 98.9% sure it’s a food allergy. Haven’t had her tested yet) which means that the microbs in her system aren’t in alignment which means that she has yeast. BAD. Well she did before I switched her to a raw diet.

After switching her to a raw diet, her coat is shinier, the itching has gone down substantially, AND, this might be the best part, she hardly poops at all. And when she does, you can’t really smell it. No joke. OK, that’s not the best part. The not itching is the best part but no poo smell is definitely up there.

As far as business goes, I’m back into the scared poopless area. I have to re-introduce myself to the area. I have to figure out what the area is looking for and what it needs as far as dog training services. I have to reestablish myself in the area and I’m a bit anxious.

I know that everything is going to be just fine. I know that everything will fall into place. It’s just going to take some time.

As far as what’s coming up with OPDT, I’m planning on doing some daily training with Harlow and putting it on Facebook Live or somewhere on the site. Any input or suggestions on what you want to see/learn to do would be great.!

As always, remember to make your training enjoyable for both you and your pup. Happy training and I’ll talk to you soon:)
